Rome's Origin
The Romans have a myth about how there great city was founded. It starts when two twins were given birth, and their names were Romulus and Remus. A servant is told to drown the babies, but takes pity on them and puts them in a basket and sends them in a basket and sent them down the Tiber River. Their basket washed up on the shore a little ways down where the twins were discovered by a female wolf. The wolf raises them for some of their life until a shepherd discovers them. Romulus and Remus seek to start their own city. They quarrel about where they should start it. Eventually Romulus starts building the city of Rome. Romulus mocks his brothers wall, and in his mockery jumps over the wall. Romulus kills his brother, and then mourns over what he has done.
